The Regenerator is a defensive device used to restore the shields of anyone inside the aura. It works on the principle of massivly increasing the rate of regeneration in the power systems. It is very lightweight and easily deployed in a free fire zone. Regenerators quickly burn out after 15 seconds, and they burn out much faster if they are near a Power Drainer.
This is a very popular piece of equipment. There will always be a regenrator in a Brute pack. Regenerators heal all electronic forms of shielding in the vicinity of the healing aura, so it is wise not to deploy it near enemy forces. It is commonly, but not formally, known as the deployable engineer. The Regenerator also works to rebuild overshields to full and keep Invincibility Modules active for much longer then normally possible.
