It serves as an excellent counter-infantry weapon and short range sniper. The Carbine has an effective range of about 2000 feet making it a medium to long range weapon. This weapon is standard issue for all infantry forces in the Elite Military and can be seen being used. It utilizes a form of radioactive based projectiles as ammunition. The very composition of this weapon speaks volumes of the barbaric nature of the Brutes. However, the Carbine has one observable disadvantages in combat. It appears to be an excellent and well-rounded weapon. However, against most close combat weapons, it is pretty much close to useless, as it does not have the stopping power needed to stop an Elite with a sword or a Brute with a Hammer. Also, given the odd shape of this weapon, humans tend to have very nasty recoil when using this weapon.
