M7S SMG - ONI Variant Base Weapon: M7S SMG Clip Size: 60 Bullets Projectile Force: Medium Bullets: 5x23mm M443 Caseless Full Metal Jacket Rounds Effective Range: 200 ft Rate of Fire: 650 Rounds per Minute M7S SMG - ONI Variant The M7S SMG - ONI Variant is a medium powered silenced SMG. It serves as an excellent sidearm and counter-infantry weapon. As opposed to the standard M7S SMG, the M7S SMG - ONI Variant is effective up to 175 feet. This weapon is standard issue on all ONI ships as of 2555. ONI marines usually do not carry this weapon but this weapon is very popular with ODSTs and Agents, as every ODST and Agent carries one. This weapon is easily dual weilded, however, due to it's stealth nature, and the necessity to aim using the VnSLS/V 6E smart-linked scope, it is almost unheard of to dual-weild this weapon. The weapon sports a very stylish semi-matte black finish on the rubber grips, with a slight navy blue polish on the metal. The weapon itself proves moderatly effective against shields (more-so then the previous model) at a range of less then 200 feet. Beyond 200 feet the weapon becomes too inaccurate to be useful. It is mounted with a laser sight and a VnSLS/V 6E smart-linked scope to help with aiming. It is also equipped with a supressor/silencer to help reduce recoil.
