This nuclear weapon of mass destruction has enough power to crack a plant into two pieces, or send a sun into supernova. It has an effective range of about 10 Km and the explosive yield of this weapon is measured at 1.2 petatons, or roughly 80 000 000 000 (80 billion) times more destructive then the Medium Fusion Destructive Device. It is activated by remote and manual detonation. This bomb could easily destroy an entire fleet of ships. If the bomb is placed on the surface of a planet, the planet will crack in two. However, an indirect detonation will result in all life on the planet being destroyed and the planet becoming devoid of all life. The planet will forever be dead. After ONI assumed control of the UNSC in 2553, this weapon entered mass production. ONI needed to resupply it's nuclear stockpile after the end of the Human-Covenant War. However, this weapon is very difficult to create and requires a lot of resources. Only 13 of these weapons exist as of 2555. Their current location is highly classified.
