[Naked Crook]

Needle Rifle - Brute Variant Needle Rifle - Elite Variant Clip Size: 21 Needles Damage Rating Index: 5 Bullets: Crystalline Explosive Projectiles Effective Range: 2000 ft Rate of Fire: 120 Rounds per Minute Type-31 Rifle - Needle Rifle The Needle Rifle fires unconventional, long and sharp projectiles similar to the Needler. The projectiles detonate several seconds after coming to rest in soft tissue. Although most infantry use it as a semi-automatic weapon for long range, the Needle Rifle is a fully automatic, medium-to-long range, precision rifle. It's design is similar to the Carbine in both aesthetics and design. As with the Carbine and Needler, the Needle Rifle uses a projectile and clip interface instead of plasma based projectiles. Brute Variant The Brute variant is slightly modified in terms of functionality. The Brute variant, like most Brute weapons, discharges its projectiles much quicker and with more power then standard variants. As such, this rifle fires three round bursts, making this an increbibly dangerous weapon as it only takes three Needles for a supercombine Explosion. This proves to be incredbily deadly to all infantry. However, the recoil of this weapon is quite extreme simply due to the three rapid succession shots tripling the initial recoil. A drawback is that with the three round bursts reduces the accuracy of this weapon. Elite Variant The Elite variant is more stabdard in terms of functionality simply in terms of what has been observed by ONI in previous encounters. The Elite variant fires single round shots with exact precision. It does not fire as fast or as hard as the Brute variant but its accuracy cannot be beat.
