M6C Magnum - ONI Variant Base Weapon: M6C Magnum Clip Size: 12 Bullets Damage Rating Index: 4 Bullets: 12.7x40mm M228 Armor-Piercing High-Penetration Rounds Effective Range: 200 ft Rate of Fire: 120 Rounds per Minute M6C Magnum - ONI Variant The M6C Magnum - ONI Variant is a high powered handgun. It serves as an excellent sidearm and counter-infantry weapon. As opposed to the standard M6C Magnum, the M6C Magnum - ONI Variant is effective up to 200 feet. This weapon is standard issue on all ONI ships as of 2555. ONI marines usually do not carry this weapon but this weapon is very popular in the navy and the medical corps, as every officer carries one. This weapon is easily dual weilded, inspite of the rapid rate of fire. Director Vernette is quite fond of this weapon, but resigned to using a modified version of the M6G instead. The weapon sports a very stylish semi-matte black finish on the rubber grips, with a slight navy blue polish on the metal. The weapon itself proves highly effective against shields at a range of less then 200 feet. Beyond 200 feet and the weapon becomes too inaccurate to be useful.
