M7 SMG - ONI Variant Base Weapon: M7 SMG Clip Size: 60 Bullets Impact: Medium Bullets: 5x23mm M443 Caseless Full Metal Jacket Rounds Effective Range: 175 ft Rate of Fire: 650 Rounds per Minute M7 SMG - ONI Variant The M7 SMG - ONI Variant is a medium powered SMG. It serves as an excellent sidearm and counter-infantry weapon. As opposed to the standard M7 SMG, the M7 SMG - ONI Variant is effective up to 175 feet. This weapon is standard issue on all ONI ships as of 2555. ONI marines usually carry this weapon. This weapon is easily dual weilded, however, due to it's rapid fire and recoil it is difficult to properly dual-weild this weapon. The weapon sports a very stylish semi-matte black finish on the rubber grips, with a slight navy blue polish on the metal. The weapon itself proves moderatly effective against shields, more-so then the previous model, at a range of less then 175 feet. Beyond 175 feet the weapon becomes too inaccurate to be useful.
