Slipspace: No Cloaking: No Type-47 Ultra Heavy Assault Platform - Scarab The Scarab is the standard Heavy Assault Platform in the Brute and Elite military forces. It utilizes four legs for omnidirectional movement. Brute Variant The Brute variant is purple. It is essentially the same in many respects to the Elite variant. The Brute variant is not seen as much as the Elite variant because of the heavy losses of Scarabs during the final months of the Human-Covenant war. The Brute variants ustilize a red plasma system for the anti-infantry turrets, Anti-Air Turret, and the Main Gun. The Brute variants are capable of a much faster rate of fire, at the expense of the cooldown of the Main Gun. Elite Variant The Elite variant is green. While it is essentially the same in many respects to the Brute variant, the Elite variant tends to be seen more often then the Brute variant simply due to the fact the Elites retained the ability to manufacture them. The Elite variants are more balanced. Elite Scarabs utilize a blue plasma system for the anti-infantry turret and Mortar turret with equal distribution of power among the systems.
